Pioneer's Professional Plasma Display series offers a distinctive status feedback feature via the RS-232C interface and its on-screen display. When used with an appropriate system, a command can be easily transmitted from a control device to the Plasma Display Panel (PDP), offering remote confirmation of current PDP status. This ensures your application is operating successfully, or it will report the cause of any errors, expediting service response and minimizing impact to your application.

This powerful RS-232C interface enables users to remotely manage their PDP-based application with ease, convenience, and peace of mind. Available commands include:

• High control capacity
• Combination (serial loop through) connections
• Variable baud rate setting
• Acknowledge function
• Serial number information
• Product model name
• Hour meter interior temperature information
• Power on/off information
• Input signal information

AMX^® Duet Program Support

Pioneer's Professional Plasma Diplay Series makes use of AMX's Duet Technology for automatic and smooth system integration. The AMX controller enables two-way communications with the RS-232C for enhanced, off-site management.
